When Someone Never Has to Recover

One of you left a review for the Flow Set and the Winter Solstice Balm that stopped me in my tracks.

“These, together with the winter face cream, are the very first skin care products I ever used. I will never look back and I won’t try anything else, they are nothing short of perfect. The first time I used them I couldn’t believe how good they are. They make me feel like I’m in a spa. The stress of the day is IMMEDIATELY gone, and I’m left relaxed and happy, and with very soft and nourished skin. I’m excited to try the other products this company has to offer!” - Marta d’Atri

She says that these are the first skincare products she has ever used.

The first.

Not the first after acne.
Not the first after sensitivity.
Not the first after rosacea, eczema, breakouts, or a long “healing journey.”

The first, before anything ever had to be healed.

Because what moved me most was not just that she loves the product. It’s that her skin was never interfered with in the first place. She found us before the cosmetic industry had the chance to confuse her skin, strip it, overstimulate it, or teach it to malfunction.

Her skin doesn’t need to “recover.”
It doesn’t need a transition period.
It doesn’t need to relearn anything.
It is simply being supported to do what it already knows how to do.

And that is everything to me.

So much of modern skincare is about undoing damage.

Undoing dryness that didn’t exist before.
Undoing sensitivity that was created.
Undoing breakouts that were triggered.
Undoing imbalance that was taught.

Healing is beautiful. Recovery is powerful. I have lived that path myself. But there is something even more precious: Never needing to recover at all.

Using something so aligned with human biology, so respectful of balance, that nothing has to be fixed later.

No shock.
No stripping.
No “getting used to Earth, Nature.”
No skin learning to tolerate what it was never meant to receive.
Just earth, meeting human skin.
Balance, meeting intelligence.
Homeostasis, uninterrupted.

I often think about this in a wider way, too. So many of us spend our adult lives unlearning, healing, and repairing, in our bodies, our skin, our nervous systems, our relationships.

And that work matters.

But what if we could offer the next generation something different? Something that doesn’t require repair later. Skin care that doesn’t create problems to solve. Care that doesn’t teach the body to defend itself. Products that don’t ask the skin to adapt to something foreign.

That is the work I care about most.

Not quick results.
Not trends.
Not fixing
But respect.
Respect for the body.
Respect for biology.Respect for the intelligence that already exists within you.

To be the first product someone ever uses, before damage, before confusion, before imbalance, before someone thinks that they have a skin type, is an honour I don’t take lightly.

And it’s why I do this the way I do.

It is a long journey, I signed up. But to me, the reward is huge. Beauty that heals. A life-changing reconnection to yourself, the Earth, and love itself. Thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart for the past 9 years.

With all my love,
Ezgi
