Ezgi, Is there a transition period? How long will it take for my skin to adapt to the new Flow Ritual? I am inspired by all these beautiful reviews.
How long will it take me to leave my review?
And I like to answer this with another question because we just met, I don't know how far your skin has been away from wholeness.
How long have you been teaching your skin the opposite?
How long have you been switching products?
How long have you been removing your sebum with cleansers, foams, creams, so-called "gentle" formulas?
It doesn't matter what they are called. Those are just marketing names.
How long have you been applying products to skin that has already been stripped of its own sebum? So fragile. In need of immediate help, but here comes an active ingredient on that skin with no sebum, creams that disrupt the very bacteria meant to protect you?
How long have you been relying on a crutch called "moisturiser"? What a lie that is! Instead of allowing your skin to produce its own sebum?
Your skin doesn't know how to function right now.
Because it has been taught something else.
I am not blaming you.
But awareness is the first step.
Some of you have serious skin conditions. I have so much empathy for them. Most of the time, my conversations with those who are struggling turn into long Instagram voice notes or almost newsletters to each email we receive.
And so I decided to create courses for each condition now. Rosacea, eczema, acne… Those are the ones we receive a lot of questions from.
So much misunderstanding, so much fragile skin that I feel the need to put all this information into courses so you can read, listen, and learn. They are coming soon.
So what are we doing here?
Plain beauty?
No.
We are teaching your skin how to function again.
That's it.
Case closed.
And when you learn a new skill, what do you do?
You repeat it.
Morning and night. Morning and night. Morning and night.
Do you want to learn tennis? You don't ask after three sessions if you need a new racket.
You play.
You repeat.
Do you want to learn guitar? You don't switch instruments every week.
You play.
You repeat.
This is no different.
You are not creating beauty.
Beauty is already within you.
Your body creates beauty. When it is in balance, in homeostasis.
You do not need an extra moisturiser when you still feel dryness after 3 weeks. Tell yourself, "My skin has not learned how to produce sebum again".
That's it!
So I must keep going until it learns.
Because.
There is nowhere else to go.
There is nothing else to do.
Sebum production, microbiome balance and seasonal adaptation.
That's it.
That is what you are teaching your skin.
Flow Ritual teaches sebum production and microbiome balance.
Sun Elixir and Winter Solstice Balm teach seasonal adaptation.
So you do not run away from seasons.
Does a tree or a flower say no to sun, no to cold?
They don't.
And science says you are made from the same minerals as the earth.
So why would you run away?
Again, I am not telling all of this from theory.
I lived it in my own body.
Your imbalance is on your skin; mine was on my brain.
You switched products, stripped your sebum for years, microbiome struggled to survive.
I didn't do that. I did something else. I am a thinker by nature. Very analytical. I love my mind. I deeply feel and deeply think. My mind helps me run this company, communicate with you, write all these words, and formulate. Every decision is mine. There is no other founder, there is no investor. Blood and tears, I created this. But when my mind was full of fear of losing my mother, it turned the gun against me. That powerful, overly analytical mind tried to solve "Cancer" in someone else's body with her mind. And so all that imbalance turned into Multiple Sclerosis.
The illness didn't happen to me.
It was everything I was feeling and thinking, finally made physical.
And the moment I learned that this was my creation, whether I liked it or not —
I reversed MS.
I healed it.
What makes me laugh is that I did it not by thinking more, but by stopping thinking altogether.
Meditation.
Just like how you now stopped using moisturisers and cleansers, switching products, and 10-step skincare routines.
You are now using a simple, healing routine, the Flow Ritual.
That is your meditation, and it deserves the word "gentle, natural".
You are teaching your skin how to function again, as I was teaching my mind how to organise its thoughts again.
But did the work stop for me?
Did I meditate for a couple of months, a year, and then stop? Because there is no MS.
No.
Something I learned about myself and being a human, I guess.
As long as you aren't living on top of the Tibetan mountains with fresh air, fresh produce, no pressure, no desire, you are gonna need some help. Some ritual to help your mind and body return to wholeness, homeostasis.
As long as I am taking risks, running my business, and have beautiful goals of spreading this to the world, living in a city, I do need my meditation, my Flow Ritual, my food, my swim, my healing friends, my cat.
Our bodies need us to be supportive.
I am not on my Betaferon injections for MS. I left that behind. I reversed MS, but now I must continue to support my brain so I don't accidentally create the same thing again. As long as I am this thinker, passionate human being, I need some help. I know this to be true about myself. I do need my meditations.
We all need to support our skin, our bodies, but especially if you have a tendency to rosacea, eczema, acne, you name it, supporting your skin is the wisest choice. You and I are on the same boat.
I wake up around 4am for meditation. Flow Ritual and then meditation.
Before I go to bed, again Flow Ritual and then meditation.
MS has not come back.
Is life less stressful? Absolutely not. I have way more pressure than I had when I was looking after my mother with cancer. And people always tell me, "Ezgi, you are so strong, you healed MS", and I am laughing inside at the "strong". I am sitting in silence while everybody is asleep. I invested so much time learning about the mind and body — more than I ever did at school. I learned so much so I don't go back to my old patterns. And that's why I want to create courses for you to listen and read. All these Instagram reels, newsletters — so you rewire your brain again and again. Repetition teaches the mind. Otherwise, you will forget.
Just like some of you told me, "Ezgi, people always comment on my skin, they say your skin is so beautiful. What changed?"
Tell them.
Wholeness.
I helped it return to wholeness.
I do it every day.
Morning and night.
I learned about homeostasis.
That's it.
So what was the question?
How long will it take?
I don't know for you.
Keep going until your skin learns. Continue to support, so wholeness stays.
Just like I do for my brain and for my skin.
Still to this day, MS has not come back. The neurologist's words come to mind from time to time. "You are playing Russian roulette with your brain, Ezgi. You will come back worse."
I didn't, and my mission is to spread the healing power of the human body in this industry called "Beauty".
What a joyful, pleasant way to learn about your body and return to wholeness.
Thank you for being here and helping me spread it.
With all my love,
Ezgi
