About Refills

Designed to support the skin’s natural intelligence, this three-step body ritual replenishes sebum and water after showering, nourishes the microbiome, and helps the skin adapt to the changing seasons without overwhelming or attempting to replace its natural functions.

Description

The skin on your body needs the same foundations as the skin on your face: balanced sebum, a healthy microbiome, and support through seasonal change.

Showering, hard water, and conventional shower gels remove much of the sebum that forms your skin’s natural protective environment. Applying a conventional moisturiser temporarily covers the dryness, but it does not support the skin in restoring its own balance.

The Flow Daily Body Ritual takes a different approach.

Raw Organic Jojoba Oil works alongside your natural sebum.

Organic Rose Hydrating Mist restores water and supports the microbiome.

Your final seasonal layer—Sun Elixir Body during the warmer months or Forest Balm during the colder months—both nourishes the microbiome and helps your skin adapt to its environment.

With daily use, the ritual supports any skin type, including dry, sensitive, or uncomfortable skin and brings back softness, hydration, and glow. Each step works with your body’s own rhythm, helping your skin self-regulate, repair, and thrive naturally.

This is not a routine of control, but a return to flow - a simple, meditative ritual that invites you to slow down, listen, and remember that true beauty is balance, not effort.

Please note: Sun Elixir Body is not a sunscreen. If you are looking for immediate, high-level sun protection for prolonged or unavoidable exposure, this product is not designed for that purpose.

Benefits

  • Supports the body’s skin barrier without replacing its natural sebum.
  • Helps restore sebum and water after showering.
  • Respects and nourishes the skin microbiome.
  • Helps maintain soft, comfortable, and balanced body skin.
  • Supports the skin as it adapts to seasonal and environmental changes.
  • Rich in whole-plant ingredients that work alongside the skin’s natural biology.
  • Encourages a slower, more mindful relationship with your skin and your body.

How to Use

The Flow Daily Body Ritual is different from conventional body care.

If you have spent years applying moisturiser whenever your skin feels dry, this ritual may feel unfamiliar at first. That is completely normal. The goal is not simply to cover dryness from the outside. The goal is to support the natural processes through which your skin regulates its own sebum, maintains its microbiome, and adapts to its environment.

Use the ritual after showering, while your body is still wet or thoroughly damp.

Step 1 — Support your sebum

After showering, apply Raw Organic Jojoba Oil generously over your entire body while the skin is still wet.

Showering, particularly with hard water or conventional shower gels, removes much of the sebum that forms your skin’s natural protective environment. Your skin does not need that sebum to be replaced with a conventional moisturiser. It needs support in returning to its own natural regulation.

Raw jojoba is the closest botanical oil to human sebum. Massage it slowly into your damp skin, allowing it to work alongside your body’s own oils rather than attempting to replace them.

Do not try to make the skin feel completely dry or product-free. Allow a light layer of jojoba to remain.

Step 2 — Restore water and support the microbiome

Mist Organic Rose Hydrating Mist generously over your entire body while the skin is still coated with jojoba.
The natural reproduction of sebum oil will hold the rose mist and truly hydrate your skin (without natural sebum, your skin cannot retain hydration)
The jojoba supports the skin’s oil balance, while the rose mist restores water and begins supporting a healthy microbiome.

This is the same principle we follow on the face: first support the sebum, then restore water and nurture the living ecosystem of the skin.

Step 3 — Feed the microbiome and adapt to the season

Complete the ritual with the seasonal adaptation layer your skin needs.

During the warmer months, massage Sun Elixir Body into damp skin. During the colder months, apply Forest Balm instead.

This final layer serves two purposes: it nourishes the skin’s microbiome and supports the skin as it adapts to the season and its changing environment.

Facial skin is more delicate, so the facial ritual uses two separate products: Botanical Face Elixir for microbiome nourishment and a seasonal adaptation layer. Body skin is thicker and less delicate than facial skin, so we can support both microbiome health and seasonal adaptation with one richer final layer. Sun Elixir Body or Forest Balm performs both functions.

Together, these three steps support the foundations of body-skin homeostasis: balanced sebum, a healthy microbiome, and seasonal adaptation.

Ingredient Wisdom

Every ingredient in the Flow Daily Body Ritual has been chosen for one purpose: to support the conditions in which healthy body skin can function.

Rather than relying on conventional moisturisers, long ingredient lists, or highly concentrated cosmetic actives, we work with whole plants and botanical oils that support the skin’s natural biology.

Raw Organic Jojoba closely resembles human sebum and helps replenish the oils disturbed by showering without attempting to replace the skin’s own functions.

Organic Rose Hydrating Mist restores water and supports the living microbiome of the skin.

Sun Elixir Body and Forest Balm are richer than our facial formulations because the skin on the body is thicker. Each provides microbiome nourishment and seasonal support in one final layer—Sun Elixir Body during warmer weather and Forest Balm during colder weather.

Together, they form a simple living ecosystem that supports your skin’s own intelligence instead of trying to override it.

A Philosophy of Homeostasis

At Earth To You, we do not believe homeostasis is something you achieve once and never think about again. It is something you choose to support every single day.

.

Just as we continue eating nourishing food, moving our bodies, breathing fresh air, spending time in nature and caring for our emotional wellbeing, our skin also benefits from consistent support.

.

Life continually changes us. The seasons change. Stress changes. Hormones change. Our environment changes.

.

Homeostasis is the remarkable process through which the body continually adapts to all of it.

.

The Flow Ritual exists to support that process—not by replacing your skin's own intelligence, but by working alongside it. Because the goal has never been perfect skin.

.

The goal is a healthy organ, supported every day, so it can continue doing what it was designed to do.

Sustainability & Giving Back

Each element of this ritual is designed to honour both people and planet.

Every bottle is made from recyclable frosted amber glass, with biodegradable kraft packaging and recycled paper labels.

Refillable within the UK — each vessel is cleaned, sanitised, and reused in an endless cycle of care.

Every order supports Trees for the Future, helping restore degraded farmland, plant new forests, and empower farming communities through the Forest Garden approach.

A note on the essential oils in our recipes

.

The essential oils in our recipes are kept very low — always under 1.5% in total. They are not there to scent the product. They are there to support something your skin genuinely depends on.

.

Your body's quiet, constant work is homeostasis: keeping itself in balance and repairing itself, day and night. But it does that work in only one state. Under stress, the body shifts into readiness rather than repair — stress hormones rise, cortisol climbs, and that cortisol reaches the skin itself, weakening its barrier and slowing the rate at which it renews. A body braced for survival puts repair on hold, and the skin, part of that same system, shows it.

.

This is why the aroma matters. Smell reaches the brain's emotional centres faster than any other sense. When you breathe something gentle in and pause, you signal to your body that it is safe — and it begins to move out of stress and toward repair. That is the entire reason we keep the scent faint: not to please the nose, but to help you reach the one state in which skin can heal and return to balance.

.

Regulate the system, and the skin follows. That is how real, lasting skin health is built — from the inside, through homeostasis.
