Exfoliation

Exfoliation

Let's "give" to our body as we "take".

Don't have time to read?
LISTEN TO THIS EMAIL

Did you know that the dead skin cells are actually food for your skin microbiome? If we just take them away without offering something in return, what kind of message would we be giving to our bodies?

Stress, Survival.

They are intelligent beings: The microbiome. They will know that the time has come. They will know that without enough food, some of them, especially the more evolved ones who eat the dead skin cells as food, will slowly die. The microbiome is a galaxy of good and bad bacteria living on your skin, taking care of you 24/7.

A signal will be sent to your immune system, as you remove the dead skin cells.

What's the signal?

"Body, get ready for the attack".

Each type of bacteria protects you from certain things. They don't all do the same job.

So, you would be unnecessarily activating your immune system, which you need for more important things. You may be healing from a certain disease, whether it's emotional or physical. Or you may be going through a stressful time in your life. That illness, that situation needs all of your attention, the power of your immune system. The less burden you put on your system, the more powerful it gets, which means you are more energized.

Do you see? All these little actions we take in terms of beauty have powerful effects on us. If we are not conscious of our body's response to them, we would be joining a losing battle. A battle with ourselves and none of us wants that.

So, Is there a way to exfoliate without taking away their food?

Wait.
We are givers here.

Is there a way to "give more" to our bodies as we take some?

There is.
Natural enzymes.

That is why I created the "Herbal Detox Face Mask".

We feed them a delicious meal filled with natural enzymes Chlorella, Matcha, Moringa, and Spirulina. They are not only a delicious meal, but they also break down the dead skin cells while tiny crystals from the Earth itself, Kaolin, and Green Clay remove these dead skin cells, leaving nothing but pure nature - a delicious, nutritious meal - on us.

1. Drop by drop, mix 3-4 spatula scoops of the Herbal Detox Face Mask powder with 2 teaspoons of water until you have a creamy, thick consistency.

2. Apply a thin layer of the mask to the skin using the brush. Start massaging the mask on your face with your fingertips. Don't let the mask dry. Keep spraying Rose Water on it so that Natural enzymes are active and can break down dead skin cells.

3. Massage the areas where you have blackheads or dead skin cells for at least 10-15 minutes.

Especially the chin area. As we eat, the food residue slowly moves down to the chin, blocking our pores. We touch our chin throughout the day as well. That's why most of us have more blackheads or acne in these areas than our foreheads. So, take your time massaging this area well. The more you massage, the more you will break down the dead skin cells.

4. Dampen our Soft Bamboo Face Cloth with warm water and press onto the mask. Fully wet the mask again and then gently wipe away to remove impurities, toxins and dead skin cells from your skin.
Your skin will be extremely soft and microbiome-happy. You just feed them with whole foods.

The soft bamboo cloth is helpful not only in cleansing the skin further but also there is a fascinating study about bamboo fabric. Even after 50 washes, the Japan Textile Inspection Association found that Bamboo eradicated 70% of bacteria over a 24-hour period. So you cleansed your face, and gently washed the cloth under warm water and hung it in your bathroom only to wake up to a clean cloth. Isn't that amazing how nature works?

We are givers here. We give to our bodies as we take.

Think about the message you just sent to your immune system.

"Carry on healing me from that illness. I give you the power to overcome my challenges. I am working with you. I understand you. I believe in you. I support you. I am conscious. I am awake. We are a team."

with all my love,
Ezgi
