Compassionate Soul

I am Shikakai.
They call me "fruit for the hair".

I sit in oils for months in the apothecary I am invited into. My seed, my skin, my soul, my whole being. I don't judge, I don't choose who to heal, who to give my everything. I am in the recipe of the Hair Elixir and the Scalp Mask to give your tired mind and compassionate soul relief.

Ayurveda says that itchy scalp, hair fall, and scalp dryness occur due to Vata and Kapha Dosha vitiation. We are all born with all three doshas, says this ancient intuitive method of understanding human consciousness.

They come together differently in each one of us, and it is this unique combination that makes us who we are. It makes sense to me. Every person has one dominant dosha type that makes up his or her personal Ayurvedic constitution.

Vata Dosha

Wind, or vata dosha, is the force that controls our movement, regulates the nervous system, and oversees the elimination of waste.

Do you always have difficulty falling asleep? A mind scattered with thoughts, forgetful, tired, anxious, and stressed. But also creative, spontaneous, energetic, and adaptable.

Kapha Dosha

Water, or Kapha dosha, is the protective force that governs the stability, structure, and moisture of our minds and bodies.

A patient, calm, compassionate, grounded, caring, physically and mentally strong human being.

Ayurveda says Shikakai is used to pacify vitiated Vata and Kapha Dosha in the body. As a result, Shikakai offers significant symptomatic relief in scaling, itching, dryness and greasiness of the scalp.

I am Shikakai. I don't judge, I don't choose who to heal, who to give my everything.

with all my love,
Ezgi
