"Ezgi, look at my hand; what do you see?
Little Ezgi said, "I see nothing, Uncle Sami. Your hand is empty".
"That's right, my dear. If you don't see something, it does not exist."
"God does not exist, Ezgi."
Do you believe in god?
The man with the beard? I never did; I still don't think it's a man with a beard. But what do I know? I am not here to judge you if you do believe him. I want to tell you about me and the divine.
Ezgi's relationship and how it has evolved over the years with this invisible force is quite an impressive one :).
from nothing to everything...
Ezgi mediates a minimum of 2 hours a day.
Ezgi enters her apothecary with a mantra: "Use me as your vessel to serve you in love".
Ezgi talks to plants.
Ezgi takes slow breaths in and out to energise her heart as she cooks so that her hands are healing and as she writes so that her words are of the divine.
Ezgi wears an HRV (Heart Rate Variability) machine to check if her connection with this invisible force is actually on point and that her heart is coherent.
Ezgi is sceptical.
Ezgi didn't grow up with spirituality or religion—quite the opposite. Ezgi was told over and over again that if you can't see something, it does not exist.
"You must treat everybody as your equal, Ezgi. You must not separate them by religion or race. There is no god."
Little did I know that our relationship with this invisible force was already a private one. It didn't have to include schools, teachers, laws, governments or religion. It wasn't a conference call. It was a private one.
Ezgi's spirituality was earned by sacrifice and a lot of suffering.
A few days ago, one of you sent this message to me on Instagram.
......
"Your skincare is incredible. We spoke briefly over email. I took your advice and went for the products with the essential oils, and my skin is the calmest, most hydrated, and even more toned than it's been in a long, long time. Wow! My mind is blown. Every time I put on my skincare, I put on a prayer or a chant and light a candle and some incense, and I take the time to breathe in the oils in all their beauty."
......
The part that gave me teary eyes wasn't the part that she says her skin is doing well. It was the part where she said she turned the whole application into a ritual, a meditation, a prayer.
Body and Soul.
One without the other is the same as missing an organ.
Body and Soul. Both work together to internalise the healing power of her skincare, which is alive with the intuitive intelligence of nature, creating a result she can't believe.
Isn't it beautiful that life gives you exactly what you need to evolve? I needed my soul to awaken. I had to be pushed to my knees to heal my MS with meditation.
From "there is no god" to "I am one of many faces of the divine".
How can you accept something to be the truth?
You must earn it.
You must earn the answer.
......
How much time do you spend applying your flow ritual every day?
Is it fast?
Is it slow?
Is there music? A mantra, A prayer.
Are you inviting your soul?
......
Let's get so good at feeling, so good that our feelings, combined with the beautiful nature inside those bottles of skincare, not only create miracles on our skin but human beings who can feel and feel deeply.
Imagine a world where we get so good at feeling each other's pain and joy at the same time.
If you are happy, I am happy. How can I celebrate your happiness?
If you are sad, I am sad. How can I help you feel better?
From individual ego consciousness to oneness.
Borders, races or genders would be a thing of the past...
Did you just use beauty?
I think you did more than that.
You are one of many faces of the divine.
Use your daily self-care rituals to feel and feel deeply.
You are the hope, the help, the love that the world has always been looking for...
with all my love,
Ezgi
