Defend My Human

I am here to defend my human.

Flaky patches on your scalp. It's itchy. Temptation is there as you scratch; it hurts as if you are shedding skin.

Seborrheic dermatitis, they say.

It is caused by an overgrowth of Malassezia yeast. Malassezia is a yeast that's a normal part of the human skin microbiome.

But hold on. We will talk human language later. Let me tell you what is actually happening.

You and I are a team. We made a pack up there. You needed a temple, a body. The wind, the cold, the elements; I said I would be there to greet them. I would lay my body over yours to defend my human.

More to let go. More to unlearn. My human, brave enough to land on Earth again, incarnate again. I am your blanket as you let go to become no one.

Challenges? You and I both were aware of them. Carefully placed, incarnated in families, environments, and circumstances for you to recognize what your soul is still holding on to. My human, brave enough to land on Earth again, incarnate again. You said I will deal with it in this lifetime. Give me another chance.

I said I will be your blanket. The wind, the cold, the elements; I would be there to greet them.

I am the garden, the blanket on your skin. Humans named me "microbiome". Malassezia yeast is me. A part of me. In my team. One of the flowers in my garden. It's overgrowing. Because the rest is lost, they lost the fight.

The cold, the wind, the elements they lost the fight. That's why I am signalling you. They lost the fight. The redness, the itchiness, I am working with your immune system, giving you signals.

But what do they tell you to do?

Use this cream to relieve the itchiness and redness my signals as if that's the problem. Malassezia yeast is me. One of the flowers. The rest is lost. They lost the fight.

I am signalling you to feed me with more flowers, and I will do the rest. I will bring my garden back into balance. Malassezia yeast is me.

Ezgi is here now,

A scalp mask I thought I should make. How can I grow more flowers on their scalp? How can I feed the microbiome with good bacteria so that the body does the rest? Earth, more Earth. 12 Ayurvedic herbs. I chose them carefully and infused them in oils, waiting for months. Nature is slow; she can't be rushed. Combined with plant butters, I then poured them into jars. I call it the "scalp repair mask", full of life, ready to grow flowers on their scalp.

Releving symptoms with creams? How about the root cause? How about making that blanket stronger? The wind, the cold, the elements: they will never end. How about empowering the body, the temple? You said you are a team. You are here to let go. You have some work to do. That body of yours needs all the energy you can get. Sleepless nights, life-changing decisions, and U-turns in life, you need all the energy.

The power that made the body heals the body. Feed me with Earth, empower me, says the body, and I will do the rest. I don't need you to stop my shouting that some call symptoms.

Feed me with Earth, and I will do the rest.

with all my love,
Ezgi
