Most of you have now received your eye balm. Let's apply it together.

End of the day. Kids are in bed. You won't be eating, drinking, reading, watching. You are ready to end the day. Flow set applied. Eye balm is on the bedside table.
Let's apply it to those tired, dry eyes. There may be wrinkles around, dark circles or bags underneath. Are they itchy?
Let's massage them together with Arnica, Borage, Bilberry, Cranberry, Green Tea, Plantain, Calendula, Chamomile, Rosehip, and Nettle.
Take a small amount with a spatula. The less you touch it with your fingers to the balm, the fresher it stays.
Warm it up on your clean fingers. Apply under your eyes from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye and then over the eyelids up to your eyebrows.
Do you have one of our Gua Sha Tools? Now is the time to use them.
Why?
Blood.
Your own medicine.
In tiny blood vessels in the lung, the red blood cells pick up oxygen from inhaled air and carry it through the bloodstream to all parts of the body. When they reach their goal, they release the oxygen again to the area.
The cells need oxygen for metabolism, which creates carbon dioxide as a waste product. The carbon dioxide is absorbed from the cells by the blood plasma and is transported back to the lungs in the bloodstream. There, it leaves the body when we breathe out. Blood also provides the cells with nutrients, transports hormones, and removes waste products, which organs such as the liver, kidneys, or intestines then get rid of.
So, as you massage the eye area, you are speeding this process. You are calling oxygen, nutrients and hormones to your eyes.
If your eye area is looking dull, you now know that more blood is needed.
There are two beautiful videos on our website that show you how to use two of our Gua Sha Tools around your eyes.
As you follow the video and massage your eyes, remember to breathe in and out.
Picture the red blood cells picking up oxygen from inhaled air and carrying it through the bloodstream to your eyes and then removing the waste products back to your liver, kidneys and intestines.
The gentle heat you create with movement will help transform all the nutrients from plants into the deepest layers of the skin.
Internally, your own blood and external plants work together in harmony to heal those eyes.
How about those who experience itchy eyes? You tend to rub your eyes often, right? Every time you touch, you introduce bacteria from your hands to your eyes. It gets difficult for plants to work.
But I have a tip for you.
Every time you feel the urge to rub your eyes, I want you to bring your attention to your heart, focus on the centre of your chest, and take some slow, steady breaths. Imagine breath coming in and out of your heart.
Plants say where the attention goes; the energy flows. Every time you feel the urge to rub your eyes, bring your attention from your eyes to your heart. Breathe in and out of your heart.
Resist the urge to touch your eyes.
